Greetings Flokka
I have not meant to neglect the fabulous women on this site purposely. My goals have somewhat taken a bit of change or turn.
I have decided to pursue school for either a Herbal Diploma or an ND. The ND is four years of my life and quite a bit more expensive. I am looking into a variety of options in a Herbal field. I am very interested in herbs as well as ecology. One or the other.
I am in the process of obtaining packages from Colleges, Institutions and Universities to way my options. This does not mean I will give up writing. If anything it can increase writing employment with a diploma in a field to write about.
Two schools I have already contacted require pre medical courses before you attend. That is not an issue since both schools offer the medical science courses for you to take.
I thought to stop in and give you a quick update of how my goals are proceeding. I am slacking in some of my resolutions and have not been applying myself fully for writing positions. I had a bit of a disappointment in two locations.
One of which would like me to focus on writing Microsoft and I do not feel I know enough on Microsoft to sustain an income at one location. Another location placed up an ad online before speaking to the head of the company by what I am gathering from the conversation.
I am trying to get back into the swing of applying to further sites for employment in the meantime, I felt it was a setback emotionally at both of those sites. I need to get back onto the horse again as the expression is kindly said.
I hope all of you are doing well and business is prospering for you ladies, you are in my thoughts quite a bit.
God speed with all your endeavors,
Dawn Gordon
New Goals For New Year
Greetings Flokka,
I have been so busy trying to accomplish my new year goals, that I have not informed you of what is occuring. Please forgive me for not coming sooner.
I have been applying to freelance writing gigs via a few worthy sites such as Freelance Writing Gigs, Media Bistro and one that is run by a Canadian Woman. I have tried to sustain employment by applying to three postings daily whenever possible.
I have also been applying for work outside my home. The work I am looking for outside the house is a combination of office, admin, cashier, customer service or any suitable location that will give me some part time evening and weekend hours. I am not earning enough of an income part time with writing as of yet. We are a grossly underpaid field, which should be illegal.
I am trying very hard to reach my goals, and find that mysomeday.com has helped me achieve my perspectives quite nicely.
I am at the point in my career where the mountain is worth climbing and do believe that I will succeed. I need to believe in myself, which has been a growing problem for me since I was a child. I dealt with bullies and teenage cliques that rob you of your own self worth and value. I had to bury those sorts of people in the dust, and wipe them from my memory.
I am in hot pursuit of financial freedom via freelancing efforts, and will never give up hope of obtaining it. Even if this means working part time outside the home until it comes to pass as fruit of hard labor of looking and being dedicated in my beliefs. I am having no success finding a freelancing site that does not allow 1-2 dollar postings. This is not fair trade, and landed countries like Haiti in some hot water. I do not participate nor endorse or freelance for these companies. I need to find freelance sites that are not allowing poverty to thrive in these countries.
I do have three locations I apply through, which are worthy as I mentioned. I am still working for Triond and other locations. I am looking for other opportunities in the mean time.
Pursuing your dreams should never erase your moral ethics or values you believe in.
Keep striving for your dreams, goals and future achievements. I am sure the view on the other side of the mountain is much prettier!

Seasonal Greetings Flokka
I have been so busy that I did not mean to neglect popping in for a visit to notify you of all these wonderful seasonal blessings.
I am thankful for your support, as I do view the links coming in from Flokka. Christmas treated my family quite well. I did not overshop and focused on feeding my family well over the holidays over gifting extravagantly.
I have been offered another writing position that is supposed to start in the new year. My blog maintains a great reading of 40-100 new visitors every single day. According to Quant Cast, I have a real audience. 33 percent of those visitors become regulars. Then 53 percent of the entire population that visit the blog are returning visitors. I like those statistics.
I am praying for some clarity as to where my writing and freelance business is going. We would like to see more gainful income coming from my works. I am hoping for more production financially over the coming months. If this does not occur, then back to work part time evenings and the odd weekend. I can be honest in my pursuits. I am hoping this works out more evenly over the coming year.
I have many new resolutions for the new year such as driving myself harder for more gainful freelancing opportunities. I want to apply to several a day, instead of wasting time reading blogs or twitters of abusive sorts of individuals. I want to start stream lining my time more wisely.
I wish you all a productive and fruitful new year, and you were in my thoughts during the Christmas season. I meant to take a few minutes to swing on by and let you know I am blessed to have the support of Flokka.
New Years eve is going to be a quiet and simple night. We are ordering in pizza, and did not order in on Christmas eve as we usually do.
May God turn your new year into blissful joy,
Dawn Gordon
Balancing Our Time Online
As a woman who juggles a writing career, two businesses, a family and a needy husband, my time online is very balanced between what I do and read. I choose reading smaller articles even if that means I need to click on links to obtain further information or be led to the sites or products they are talking about. I choose reading smaller articles online so I can write my articles, browse through hundreds of emails, read other job offers, and manage a business site or two.
This is not a matter of not enjoying reading larger formats, or even writing them for that matter. I believe larger articles are meant for either paper publications, or personal download in a PDF,email or ebook format.
I am conducting a very important survey, and would like about 1000 responses before I write an article on what people prefer to do online when their time is limited to only an hour or so a day. Regular working people working 8-4, 9-5, then coming home and taking care of other matters.
I have attached a poll, and the answers are keep private. A simple yes or no. If you do not use emails or chat, then you can subsitute that answer with doing other things online other then reading 1500 word articles.
I am asking for any help in doing this survey. It only takes about thirty seconds to read and answer.Much appreciated for your assistance in coming up with some statistics.
Please keep in mind the question says when your time is limited.
Another worthy thing to consider is Ehow, which receives more views then any site in the world, takes five minutes to read one posting which is about 250 words.
I am not talking about tutorial sites where lengthier articles are needed, which will be another poll all together. Those sites should remain a tutorial site, and nothing more then tutorials for those looking for larger formats.
The poll is about regular web sites, regular web content, should they be 1500 words instead of 400-500? Should they keep longer articles on a separate site? Such as tutorial sites or very short story sites?
I am on the goodreads website, I have nothing against reading longer formats. I read books, sometimes 2-3 at a time.

Are You Alone Through the Holidays?
If you are forced to spend the season alone, do not look at that opportunity as a tradegy. Turn that time into something soothing for the soul, and embrace the chance to turn solitude into a personal quest of knowing you.
I have taken the liberty to write an article on this topic. A man I read in the Alive magazine, is truly inspirational. He opened my eyes to view this time alone for you as something more worthwhile. I did not copy his article, I gave entirely different activities to do. Which I will be sending him a copy, adding his link to my site, and promoting his writing for others to read.
Keep yourself soothed by doing what feels right for you to do and spend your time doing it,
My thoughts are sent your way through the holiday season, for you to know you are never alone in spirit.
I strongly urge you to read this article I wrote, and if you know anyone who spends the time alone through the holidays, pass it on to give them some peace of mind.

Podcasting is Fun; New Adventure
I have begun to podcast and it is so much fun and effective for a different audience.
I only began the other day, and have four subscribers already. I have two locations going with the same teachings, to spread myself around and be heard a little more.
I strongly urge you to invest some time reading my information on beginning a free podcast, and free hosting for the pod.I think all should start off with a free version to see how it works for you, or if you enjoy doing it. It will save you a headache and more expense if you do not like the option of podcasting.
Chartered Account Message
I received and approved your message on that saturday sabbath posting, I hope you receive this blog because I do not know how else to contact you.
You can use any of my blogs that are not on Newsblaze, or any other site I work for. So the actual articles themselves, those are copyrighted to the sites. I sold the copyright to them to use.
Feel free to use anything else of value, but if you could link it back to either here or my wordpress blog, that would be appreciated. Clearly just for more views of support.
Overview of Brand Visibility
As most of us writers and bloggers are aware, we need to know if what we write or blog about is going to be discussed in social circles on the internet.
This keeps us in business and makes sure we can continue having views, or we would not be able to put food on our tables. I am course looking at this as a business venture such as blogging for money or writing for another site.
I was hired by Newsblaze to write about business, and I just submitted my first business article. Grin. A little behind because I was focusing on my passion of green technology with Alan. (my editor)
I am posting a link to this article because I believe this could help you to learn if your brand is even being noticed in mass social media circles such as Facebook and Twitter.
I promise you I am not placing a link for spam reasons, only to share this wealthy gold mine that I have located. When I researched the environment as a brand, the numbers were astounding. Thousands upon thousands. The higher the number, the more visible your brand is.
Please review my article and take a look at these worthwhile sites.

Have a great weekend, and a relaxing Sabbath tomorrow.

Great Day
It has been a wonderful and productive day today that I really must share. I have take the liberty to contact a pay per view giant that runs ehow and a variety of other web sites to ask them about paying Canadian freelance writers and freelance writers outside of the USA. Most pay per view sites are allowing more then USA citizens.
Today is so beautiful outside I decided to take my daughter for an hour walk while my laundry was washing so I could just switch it over when I got home. We stopped at the local organic bakery and picked up some Montreal style bagels. Nothing compares to Montreal style bagels. A homemade Italian loaf was calling out to me, along with some fresh ground organic coffee. The coffee will be stashed away until Sabbath on Saturday.
I still have dishes to do, and other responsibilities, but taking that time out today for a lovely walk was well worth putting off the dishes for another hour or so.
I have two articles still in pending mode, so I am not so concerned of producing content today. I might try to spin one more tale, but plan on focusing on some other matters on Ning with prophecy, and cleaning up my tumblr blog with some tags and removing some postings that I do not want on tumblr.
May God bless you this bright and sunny day to enjoy the fruits of your labor so that you can take some time out today to enjoy some of nature outside like we did.
Submit Your Blog or Site to Spicy Page
I have set up my profile and submitted my blog on Spicy Page. That is not the only feature I have discovered on Spicy Page. You can submit articles from the blog you have submitted to the site. I am of course using this function to lead them to my blog to read the article which is linked in each blog.
I have kindly explained it is because of copyright to the site, and not bad SEO link farming.
I am going to enjoy Spicy Page, and strongly suggest using this particular method to bring visitors to your blog and articles.
I have submitted an article to my editor about this site, and hope to have it posted today,
